If your vehicle is registered outside the Abu Dhabi, the owner of vehicle will have to register for Abu Dhabi Toll System. This applies to cars registered in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain. You can begin the process by opening the Online Abu Dhabi Toll Registration Portal (https://dot.gov.ae/) and entering in your details which include your name, mobile number, Emirates ID number and car details. Verify your mobile number with the OTP provided and then activate the status of your car. Once activated, you can proceed by paying the Abu Dhabi toll fees. The initial registration fee for Abu Dhabi toll gates will be AED 100. Of this, AED 50 will be added as credit to your account.
